Contributions are bestowed with the understanding that Grace Bible Church has complete discretion and control over the use of all donated funds in accordance with our by-laws. GBC will attempt to honor gifts preferenced to support particular ministry programs or projects, but the final decision on the use of all funds rests with the organization.
Grace Bible Church is ECFA certified. To see more information on ECFA and their standards, please visit www.ecfa.org.
At Grace, generosity is one of our core values. We don't believe this because we want something FROM you, but because we want something FOR you. Over and over in the Bible we see God promising to bless those who are willing to return to Him a portion of what He has blessed them with. You can't outgive God.
Grace tithes as well. We have made a decision to give 10% of unpreferenced contributions to other ministry endeavors outside of GBC. This is allocated as 5% to missions, 2.5% to benevolence and 2.5% to Christian ministry.
Grace offers an annual class on finance management. If you are interested in learning how to manage your finances in a way that will be blessed by God, contact the church office to be notified when the next one will be.
Financial Integrity & accountability
At Grace, we do our best to steward the money that comes in to fund the vision to which God has called us: To be a relational church making a visible impact for Jesus by creating a culture of discipleship; developing leaders; meeting felt needs; and investing in the "Big C" church. To enhance this, we are certified by ECFA (Evangelical Council For Finanical Accountability). This is based on their seven standards of responsible stewardship, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.
If you have any questions about our financial philosophy or how we are currently allocating funds, don't hesitate to contact us!
